On October 29th, Cherprang, the Shihainin and captain of BNK48, held her graduation concert titled “DEPART‘CHER’ – Cherprang BNK48’s Graduation Concert” at the Thunder Dome in Bangkok. Joining as a first-generation member since the group’s formation in 2017, she had become the inaugural queen in the “1st BNK48 General Election” in January 2019, making her a symbolic member of the group. Cherprang, the emblematic figure of BNK48, finally retired from her idol career.
For the encore’s fifth song, Cherprang reappeared on stage in an off-shoulder pure white dress as the final center single “สัญญานะ” (meaning: Promise) played. She passionately sang alongside her BNK48 teammates, expressing her heartfelt emotions.
“Thank you very much for supporting me all this time. Although I won’t be active as a BNK48 member anymore, I’ll remain here as the manager, watching over my sucessors. Please continue to support BNK48.”
Addressing the audience gathered at the largest venue in BNK48’s history, Cherprang entrusted the future of her juniors. It was truly a moment of exchanging “promises.”

In the middle of the concert during the unit song “おしべとめしべと夜の蝶々” (Oshibe to Meshibe to Yoru no Choucho), Mao WeiJia, the captain of AKB48 Team SH from Shanghai, made a surprise appearance. A dream duet between the two captains became a reality.
Among the BNK48 members, Cherprang, known for her deep understanding of Japanese culture, received two joyful video messages. One was from OKADA Nana, a former AKB48 member and close friend, with whom she once dueted on “てもでもの涙” (Temo Demo no Namida).
“Thank you for supporting the BNK48 group for a long time. Not only that, you were a wonderful idol who uplifted the entire 48 group. I commend you for that.”
The second message came from YAMAMOTO Sayaka, Cherprang’s eternal admiration and former NMB48 member.
“There must have been happy and tough times, but I believe everything led to the Cherprang we see now. I hope you continue to cherish yourself, listening to the voices of fans and your precious ones around you, and keep doing your best in your future activities. I look forward to the day I can meet Cherprang again.”
All 43 BNK48 members and seven from CGM48 participated, along with 24 graduates, including Music, Mobile, Pun, Jennis, Tarwaan, and Pupe, who had already graduated at the end of last year.
It was a fitting graduation concert for Cherprang, the most deserving contributor to the group.
Additionally, during the concert, there were surprise announcements about the future activities of BNK48:
● Announcement of the selected members for the 15th single “希望的リフレイン” (Kibouteki Refrain)
● Recruitment of 5th generation BNK48 members
● Formation of the AKB48 group’s first-ever global unit “Quadlips”
Even with Cherprang, who laid the foundation for BNK48, departing, the group continues to move forward. The concert was a grand intersection of the past and the future.
