AKB48, BNK48, and CGM48 held “AKB48 Group CIRCLE JAM 2023” on February 4 at Central World in Bangkok, Thailand. It was the first time in 4 years since this kind of event at the “AKB48 Group Asia Festival 2019 in BANGKOK”.
Pupe, who graduated from BNK48 last year, served as a content producer for part 1 of the event, which was themed “Cute,” and the second night part, “Cool,” with members chosen to match their respective images.
The first part opened with AKB48’s latest single “Hisashiburino Lip Gross” and the members of the three groups performed their original versions with Thai words. “We all had a lot of lessons together for a short period, so I’m already feeling sad to think that it will end today~,” said Narumi Kuranoo. Airi Sato , a newcomer who just joined the group last year, was on stage overseas for the first time. I was looking forward to it,” she said excitedly.
The highlight of the second part was “Nemo hamo Rumor” famous track for hard dance moves. It was a powerful performance that was perfect for expressing “Cool”!
The audience was also thrilled by a unit exclusive to this event.
The “TikTok ♡ Like Contest!” was held between November to December last year. The five “TikTok Challenge Selected Members” chosen by the fan community were JKT48 Muthe, BNK48 Yoghurt, BNK48 Ratah, TP Wang Yi-Chia, and AKB48 Team TP Lin Yu-Hsin. The five members performed “Hashire! Penguin” in the first part and “Oogoe Diamond” in the second part.
A total of 54 members performed a total of 41 songs, in the first and second parts. The last song of both performances was “Believers”, the 12th single of BNK48, written by Nana Okada and was choreographed by Yuiri Murayama.The song was sung in a special version with Japanese, and AKB48 Sou Kantoku Mion Mukaichi said, “I am so happy to finally be able to meet my fans like this (after overcoming the Covid struggles). Khob khun mark Ka! (Thank you very much!)” . She also thanked her beloved fans and vowed to meet again shortly.
