AKB48 Team TP held the first day of their new stage performance “Te wo Tsunaginagara (手牽手/手をつなぎながら)” at the Huashan Umay Theater in Taipei City on March 18.
Team TP started its first theatre performance, “RESET,” in September 2020, and had been performing for about two and a half years until January of this year, divided into three teams: Daisy, Bellflower, and Sakura.
In 2023, the Covid disaster has been completely overcome. With a fresh start, Team TP was preparing for its second theatre performance, “Te wo Tsunaginagara,” this time, the three teams were terminated in May of last year, and the newly created unit “TIC TAC TOE” and the unit “Peek A Boo” were formed again, with TIC TAC TOE performing on the 18th and Peek A Boo performing on the 19th.
Auditions for the 4th-gen members have been underway since February, and the successful candidates will be selected in May, from which the new Team TP will be even more active.
