On November 11, AKB48 announced to join the “JAPAN EXPO THAILAND 2023” for Bangkok, February 3rd next year. The event is one of the largest Japanese cultural events held in the Asian region. It will be the first time in 3 years since February 2020, before the new coronavirus disaster.
This will be the 1st time AKB48 has performed overseas since the coronavirus disaster. At one time, they visited Thailand several times each year to perform. 3 years ago, a huge crowd of fans came to the open-air stage, and there was no for the popularity. In addition to performing their hit songs, they also provided a fun time with talks and a gift corner for fans.
The lineup of the members will be announced via the official Facebook page for JAPAN EXPO THAILAND 2023 on November 19th.
