JKT48 organized a regional concert tour “JKT48 10th Anniversary Tour” from June 25 to July 1 to commemorate its 10th anniversary. The tour visited five locations around Java, Indonesia, and attracted a total audience of 20,000 people.
This was the first regional concert tour in 3 years since “Circus,”. It was long-awaited performance for the fans in the regional area. Each stage was set up in an open space of a shopping mall, attracting many ordinary shoppers as well.
In addition to the latest song “Flying high,” the performance included a number of popular songs, including the group’s first original single “Rapsodi” and AKB48’s original classics “Everyday, Katyusha” and “Oogoe Diamond. Fans also responded with loud and continuous en call. Sisca (22) sang “365 nichi no kami hikouki” on acoustic guitar, with audience singing along with her. It was truly an explosion of the feelings that both the members and their fans had been waiting for over the past three years.
In addition to the song and dance performance, the event also included a fashion show, a game corner with fans, a talk session, and other events that were sure to keep the audience excited, even if they were not JKT48 fans. A two-shot photo session with fans was also held and was a great success.
The group will hold “JKT48 10th Anniversary Concert HEAVEN” on August 6 in Jakarta as the climax of the group’s 10th anniversary project concert.
