JKT48 celebrated the first day of “Banzai JKT48”, a theater performance with an original setlist, at the JKT48 Theater in Jakarta, Indonesia, on March 12, to mark the group’s 10th anniversary.
The performance was created with a focus on energetic and dynamic songs to celebrate this special occasion. Opened with the NMB48 original “HA!” continuing on with “Nagiichi” (ナギイチ) and “Eien Pressure” (永遠プレッシャー) making it pop and vigorous setlist. The unit corner was accented with cute idol songs such as “Finland Miracle” (フィンランド・ミラクル) and “Wimbledon he tsureteiite” (ウィンブルドンへ連れて行って), the sexy “Oshibe to Meshibe to Yoru no Butterfly” (おしべとめしべの夜の蝶々) and the ballad “365-nichi no Kamihikouki” (365日の紙飛行機) with the second half exenterated with “Kataomoi Finally” (片思いFinally), “Must be now”. The group left a lively impression with intense songs.
The last song was “Paleo wa Emerald” (パレオはエメラルド) and “Banzai Venus” (バンザイ Venus) two of SKE48’s most popular songs with which they have the most interaction, closing the theater performance with an essence of speed.
To commemorate this theater performance, a Digital Photobook “Banzai JKT48” will also be released on the 19th. The book will also include a bonus, allowing fans to participate in the “Video Call with JKT48” online talk event with the members of JKT48.
