This 2023, TP held the last RESET performance, whilst JKT48 has began a brand new theater performance

In January 2023, after overcoming the Covid crisis, 48 group theatres around the world are more active than ever.

AKB48 Team TP held their first “RESET” performance as a team since September 19, 2020, the finale of Unit Bellflower and Sakura was performed on January 14 and Daisy on January 15, 2023, respectively. Although there were times when the event could not be held due to the Covid crisis, the curtain closed on a performance filled with memories of the past two years and four months.

Meanwhile, for JKT48, Team KⅢ celebrated the first day of their new performance “Ramune no nomikata” on January 15. A new restart of the group’s 11-year debut began with KⅢ.

BNK48, which was newly reborn after the graduation of many of the 1st-gen at the end of last year, will be relocating to the BNK48 Theater located at The Mall Bangkapi in Bangkok with the renovation of the mall.The last “Team NV [Teater no Megami]” performance and “Pim Graduation Stage” at the current theatre was held on January 15, and the group has entered a brief break from self-owned theater.

This year, all regions are expected to be able to develop in a manner that fully returns to their original activities before the Covid crisis. Expectations are high for further new developments.
